Pantech Jest Mobile Phone Officially At Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless has confirmed that they will soon be adding the Pantech Jest mobile phone to their lineup. The handset which includes a slide out QWERTY keyboard has been designed with an emphasis on video, photography and voice messaging. Like many phones before it, it will also include support for the common social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and the micro-blogging site Twitter.

The Pantech Jest comes with a 2.6-inch TFT display that is fully customizable based upon user preference using a variety of different icons. The handset which includes a 2 megapixel camera that can capture still images also has a video recording mode. The Pantech Jest will be available free online with certain terms and conditions. The instore price will be $120 but it will come with a $50 mail-in rebate. Effective date is July 5.
