Gateway introduced the new netbook Gateway LT32, based on the AMD Nile platform and running the  Windows 7 Home Premium  operating system. The netbook is equipped with 11.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels (16:9) and LED-backlit, providing play HD-video. It is also reported on the connector HDMI, through which you can transfer video Full HD 1080p on external sources (monitor, TV). Features include LT32 AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor with a frequency of 1.7 GHz, the integrated graphics adapter ATI Radeon HD 4225, 2 GB of RAM and hard drive capacity of 250 GB. On board there are also adapter wireless Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, HD built-in webcam, NIC Gigabit Ethernet, modem, 3G, card reader, three USB 2.0 ports and a VGA-connector. Battery provides up to 5.5 hours of continuous operation without recharging. It is expected that netbook Gateway LT32 will soon go on sale at a price of $ 450.

Samsung introduced N220 Premium Plus with improved performance and design. Fujitsu has launched its new P3110 laptop with a variety of vivid color options. It is a 11.6 inch notebook that comes with ultra-low-voltage processor, high-resolution LED screen and Energy Star 5.0 rating. It weighs just about 1.6 kg and has an extended battery life of six and half hours. The P3110 is powered by Intel Core2 Duo Processor Ultra Low Voltage (ULV). Integrated 1.3 megapixels webcam and built-in digital microphone are perfect for video conferencing and Internet telephony (VoIP). It is competitively priced at Rs. 63,500 with a three year onsite warranty and is available in Cherry Red, Shiny White and Glossy black colours.

If you’ve had your eye on a compact clamshell MID and had some interest in the Viliv N5, then your wait is over as it is now available through the online  shopping site  Dynamism. Pre-orders for the N5 MID have begun with the price set at $649. On last check, the item was not seen on either the New Egg or Amazon website, but it will most likely appear on these sites shortly. The Dynamism $649 price will get you an N5 that will have a 4.8-inch touchscreen display, Intel Atom Z520 1.3GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, a 32GB solid state drive (SSD), WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS. It is also Flash ready and supports 720p HD video playback. There is also another model that comes with an HSPA modem, but this one will cost an extra $100.

Sometimes it can be a big challenge to decide which way to go, laptop or desktop? Both have their advantages. Desktops with the extra ports for connectivity and the generally larger screen display or a laptop that offers a good portable solution but with fewer ports. If you do go the portable route, you can always consider the Zemno Desktop Pro notebook dock that supports both PC and a 15-inch MacBook. It’ll offer up a number of extra ports and even lets you slide in a battery or extra hard drive. Acer Aspire One D255 is the latest netbook with a 10.1-inch display. The netbook uses dual-core processor Atom N550, which Intel plans to release in the current quarter. Clock chip – 1.5 GHz technology supports Hyper-Threading, which is due to concurrent processing of up to four streams of instructions. The Aspire One D255 has the hard drive capacity up to 250 GB, 1 GB RAM, adapters, wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a webcam and 6-cell battery. LED-backlit display has a native resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels, is responsible for processing graphics integrated video core Intel GMA 3150. It’s weigh no more than 1,25 kg; shell thickness is 24 mm. The claimed battery life – up to 8 hours. No information on price and availability.

Neofonie WeTab Delayed Till September The Neofonie WeTab tablet computer that was expected to ship to German customers has been delayed. The online retail giant Amazon has been advising their user base that the WeTab will not be available for a few months and are targeting September 19th as the most likely date. The Neofonie tablet was originally called the WePad prior to its name change and many insiders believe the name change may have been a way to avoid a possible confrontation with Apple and their iPad. The tablet that comes with an Intel Atom processor, an 11.6-inch touchscreen display,  SD card reader , 1.3MP camera and a six hour battery will be available in two variants. The 16GB tablet will sell for $610 and a 32GB tablet that also comes with 3G access will sell for $770.

The HP TouchSmart 600 runs Windows 7 Home Premium, has a 23 inch 1080p Full HD display and runs Intel Core 2 Duo Processors (or Core i3 and i5). For connectivity it has WiFi built in as well as a BlueTooth connection. To make use of the large screen as a TV, an optional TV card can be purchased with the TouchSmart 600 allowing you to tune in to TV channels as well as record them if needed. Overall it appears to be quite an impressive package. With the added touchscreen it allows (in some cases) easier navigation around the PC and adds an extra layer of control.

Dell Inspiron R Series Notebook Dell Inspiron notebooks has never been characterized by exceptional technical specifications: it is more like a notebook for each day, for daily work or study, nothing particularly powerful. The new R-series, however, adds something extra in terms of aesthetics rather than hardware. The Dynabook Qosmio V65 arrives by the end of this week and the estimated selling price is around $ 1,960.

Gateway NV Notebooks – NV59, NV79 Gateway has updated it’s NV Notebook series with two new models the 15.6-inch Gateway NV59 and 17.3-inch Gateway NV79.
